| BOOK
When a lost diary written by Bram Stoker is recovered in a basement office at The University of Budapest, a series of mysterious events unfold that ultimately places all that read it in great danger. A top secret committee of Columbia University researchers is formed and the members of the committee are tasked to prove the Diary’s authenticity. As the Diary’s secrets are uncovered those involved begin to suffer frightening and untimely deaths. Only one person, Laura Olsen Wynne manages to survive. In taking flight, Laura is fully aware of the Diary’s true implications. Laura desperately tries to contact those she knows can save her. Only they would know the Diary’s true meaning and more importantly why such dark forces would want to suppress it. The diary itself tells a story far more frightening then the novel Dracula and more importantly challenges the very essence of mankind’s existence. A force more dangerous then one man’s imagination could ever contemplate. Meanwhile dogged Detective Arnold Walters is looking for Laura as well. However he is not alone. The Sinister Rufus Arsine, an expert at finding ancient manuscripts, is also looking for Laura. His reputation for ruthlessness and cruelty precedes him and he is known for always finding what he is looking for. Walter’s knows he must find her first but is totally unaware that in doing so he will face the same horrible fate as Laura. |
